Brief.
The Kettering NHS Foundation Trust Phlebotomy department, needed a shared booking system to coordinate blood testing across four medical sites.
Used by patients, clinical staff and administrative staff, the program should be designed to lead each user though the process of booking, managing and tracking appointments.
Solution.
This came in the form of an app for patients and a desktop booking system for staff members. The design needed to be easy to navigate as well as working across different platforms with a slight variation on content with regards to staff and patient versions. We kept the design in line with current NHS branding guidelines with a ‘no nonsense’ approach to layout and navigation. The patient app was more detailed with imagery and maps/directions whereas the staff design was made with pure coherence in mind.
